The “REAL ID Act” is a wish list of far reaching anti-immigrant measures, not a national security bill. In the past, anti-immigrant groups have been unable to sell these ill-conceived proposals on their own merits, and now they are trying to scare politicians and confuse the public by cloaking them in the guise of national security.
