Minutes November Meeting
Feliz Dia de Gracias!
The November COHO meeting was held on November 4 at Penn Valley Community College. At large candidates were elected at this meeting. Welcome to our new board members: Mary Lou Jaramillo and Yamel Medina! Ian Bautista was re-elected to the board as an at large member.

The December meeting will be held at the Macias Flores Center, 290 South 10th Street, KCK at 8a.m. on Friday, December 2, 2005. Michael Snodgrass, Program Director, of the GKC LISC(Local Initiatives Support Corporation) NeighborhoodsNOW program, will make a presentation as will a staff member of UMOS, United Migrant Opportunity Services. UMOS is a non-profit, advocacy organization, based in Milwaukee, WI, that provides programs and services which improve the employment, educational, health and housing opportunities of under-served populations. UMOS was recently awarded the National Farm worker Jobs Program (NFJP) grant for the state of Missouri. The nine-month contract is for $930, 345.00.
