JOB ANNOUNCEMENT - LABOR CUSTODIAN

Attached is the announcement for Labor Custodian, LV 03, for Kansas City MO. This exam is for Veterans Preference. Please post the attachment where it is visible to customers, as well as employees, to share with family members or friends.

This announcement will be open from November 5 - 30th, 2007. They will need the announcement #211842 to apply either on the internet www.usps.com/emloyment or call the Commercial #1-478-757-3199. Applicants can only apply once per Announcement Number. Duplicate applications will not be accepted. PLEASE LISTEN TO THE PROMPTS.

You will also be receiving the announcement for the Battery Exam 473 (clerk, mailhandler and city carrier) that will open for the Mid-America District on December 3 - 14th, 2007. This will be to SIGN UP ONLY..........and the exam will be administered some time after the first of the year.

ALSO, ATTENTION:

This is to inform you that Maintenance Exam, (931) General Maintenance for Building Equipment Mechanic LV 08 and Maintenance Mechanic LV 06 ONLY; (932) Electronic Technician LV 11; and (933) Maintenance Mechanic MPE LV 08 will open to the "PUBLIC" October 15, 2007 and close December 28, 2007, for the Kansas City MO METRO AREA ONLY.........

Please post all THREE MAINTENANCE ANNOUNCEMENTS in your facility (visible in lunchroom, workroom, lobby,etc) and share with those that are interested in working for the POSTAL SERVICE.

Instructions on how to apply are on the announcement. The announcement number, which there are three different announcements, is required in order to sign up for that particular exam. Administering of these exams will be scheduled after the first of the year (2008).

Let me add, that some of these positions require driving, and that applicants must have a valid state driver's license and a safe driving record.
